Que.2.How to Register as a Jobseeker ?

Ans.
  1. Go to the Registration Menu.
  2. Click on the“Register As Jobseeker” 
  3. Type Your Name, Mobile number ,Email ID, Password and Verification details.
  4. Select the check box to accept the Terms and Condition.
  5. Click the “Create” button for Complete the registration Process.
  6. After Registered as Jobseeker next fill up your Profile details like Present Address, D.O.B, Education, Experience and Upload your Resume.
Que.3.How can I update/edit my Profile?
 
Ans. You can update your profile only after you login to Jobs and Business India.com. Once you have logged in to your account. To edit your profile, click on the ‘My Profile' and Update’ link. You can make changes to your Profile by editing the relevant sections from the Profile details. It is recommended that you update your Profile regularly. Recruiters often contact only those candidates who have recently updated their profiles.
 
Que 4. I can’t remember the password to my account. How can I login again?
 
Ans. In this case, click on the ‘Forgot Login Details’ link at the right side on the Login Page or on the ‘Forgot Login Details?. In order to retrieve your account password, you need to enter the e-mail address specified in your user name. Once you have entered either of the two, a confirmation mail with password link to reset your password will be sent directly to your inbox. 
 
Que 5. How can I change the password to my account?
 
Ans. Once you have logged in to your account,To change your account password, click on the ‘Change Password’ link given at the Dasboard. You would need to enter your old password and specify and confirm the new one. Once you specified and confirmed the new password, a confirmation mail will be sent directly to your inbox.
 
Que 6. How can I change the Email ID/User Name to my account?
 
Ans. Once you have logged in to your account,To change your account Email ID/User Name, click on the ‘Change Email ID/User Name’ link given at the Dasboard. You would need to enter your old Email ID and specify and confirm the new one. Once you specified and confirmed the new Email ID, a confirmation mail will be sent directly to your inbox.Adding a new Email ID will initiate an email to verify if the new email address is entered correctly. Once the new email address is verified, you can delete the old email address or make the new Email ID your primary Email ID.

Ans. You can update your contact details only after you login to Jobs and Business India.com. Once you have logged in to your account, Click on the 'My Profil' link. To update your Contact detail like Mobile number and Address Details.
 
Que.8. What is search Job?
 
Ans. Search gives you an option to look for relevant jobs based on your specific requirements. To search for a job, you can use the Job Search window. You may use the following criteria to look for relevant jobs.

A.Category :-For a category search you may enter Dept, Category, or company name of desired Dept. Keyword search is of the following types
 
B.Cadre :-For a cadre search you may enter Designation, Cadre, or company name of desired job. Keyword search is of the following types.

C.Locations :-You may enter Indian cities , depending upon your preference. The search result will display only those jobs which are based out of the locations that you have specified.

D.Experience :-You may enter the number of years you have worked for. The search result will display all those jobs with the required work experience range matching the one you have specified.

E.Salary :-This field gives you an option to specify the minimum and the maximum limit for the salary that you expect. This will arrange / order the search results to better suit your requirements. The jobs matching the salary range that you have entered will be shown first followed by the ones which do not match the selected salary range.
 
Que 9. How do I search for relevant jobs?
 
Ans. Search gives you an option to look for relevant jobs based on your specific requirements. To search for a job, you can use the given search window. It is recommended that you specify the category, preferred locations and your total experience criteria to access job search results which are closest to what you are looking for. In case, you get results running into hundreds, you can narrow down your search by specifying all available criteria. In case of ‘No Results Found’, it is recommended that you may broaden your search by entering only a limited number of criteria.
 
Que 10. What are the benefits of creating my personalized Job Alert?
 
Ans. Creating a Job Alert helps you find access to the latest jobs matching your aspirations. Based on the criteria that you have specified for your Job Alert, you get latest matching jobs in your inbox. You can create up to 5 personalized Job Alerts, each with different criteria.To use the benefits of Job Alert, it is not necessary for you to be registered on the site. Creating a Job Alert, thus, helps you access latest job vacancies based on your job requirements.
 
Que 11. How is a Personalized Job Alert different from a regular Job Alert?
 
Ans. A personalized Job Alert sends jobs to your inbox based on the criteria defined by you. With a regular Naukri Job Alert too, you get Job vacancies sent directly to your inbox. But, while a Personalized Job Alert you have personalized search criteria, a Job Alert sends you job vacancies based on our understanding of your profile and job requirements.

Ans. ‘Jobs by Category’ enables you to refine your search by selecting a particular industry that suits your job requirement. The option provides you with a comprehensive list of all the jobs that are available under the chosen category. Clicking on the link further narrows down the category, into the area of specialization that you are looking at.

Ans. Yes, you have an option of reapplying for majority of the jobs that are advertised with Jobs and Business India.com. However, for a few selected ones, recruiters do not accept reapplications, based on the specifications provided by the recruiters. In such a scenario, you will be informed of the same.  
 
Que 16. How do I know if I have successfully applied for a job?
 
Ans. In case of a successful job application, you will be informed of the same through the confirmation mail sent by us directly to your inbox.
 
Que 17. When can I expect a response after a successful job application?
 
Ans. Once you have successfully applied for a particular job vacancy, any future correspondence towards the same lies solely at the discretion of the company.

Ans. If you have been logged out of your Jobs and Business India.com ccount, it is probably because:

  • You have not used the application since 15 minute after you logged in and your login session has expired.

    [Note: It is always recommended click on the “Logout” link at the top after you finish using Naukri services. This is to avoid any timeouts and prevent unsaved changes from being lost].

Ans. Posting jobs on Jobs and Business India.com  is quite easy with 3 simple steps:

  • Login to your Register employer account at Jobs and Business India.com  with the username and password mailed to you earlier.
    Go to "Job Postings" » Post a Job
  • Fill the Job Posting form, preview and post it.

P.S: After your payment has been validated/received by us, you can start inputting jobs immediately

Que 9. For how long will my posted jobs remain advertised the portal site ?

Ans. All jobs remain active on the site for 60 days from the date of posting.

Que 10.How do I know the number of Job Postings in my Employer Account ?

Ans. You can view this information after you login click Published Job option at dashboard.). You can also see this number of post published.

Que 11.How long will it take for my job to get reflacted on Jobs and Business India.com portal site ?

Ans. It takes 1 minutes for a job posted to be visible on the site.

Que 12.How do I add additional email ids? Is there any limit on the number of email ids allowed?

Ans. No, there is no option for additonal email ID.

Que 13.What happens to my job after 60 days? What are ‘Inactive Jobs?

Ans. The jobs that had been on site for more than 60 days are marked as ‘Inactive Jobs’. These jobs are still available to you for a period of 3 month from the date of posting, after which they are permanently deleted from our database.

Que 14. How do I modify a job vacancy that I’ve already posted on the site?

Ans. To modify a job, you need to follow these steps:

       Modify a posted job:

  • Login to your account and click on “Published Job”.
  • Go to “Edit Jobs”.
  • Update Jobs

Que 15.How do I remove my job from your site?

Ans. If you wish to remove an already posted job from the site:

  • Login to your Account and Click on "Published Job"
  • Go to the View jobs section
  • Click on the ‘Delet’ icon against the job which you want to remove.

Que 16.How do I view the applications/responses received for the job that I’ve posted?

Ans. For the job that you’ve posted on  Jobs and Business India.com, you can directly receive the applications on the email id provided by you while posting the job.
